If you are doing Amazon Affiliate Marketing, you need to know what is Amazon one link and use it so you can earn from the clicks of your site visitors from different countries. It's FREE! Learn more about it from this post.

What Is Amazon One Link?
This lesson is straight-forward. Using the Amazon OneLink, I’ll teach you how to take advantage of the clicks from your site visitors from different countries.
How Does Amazon One Link Work?
If your website visitor is from the Canada or UK for example, and you only have an Amazon US affiliate account, you might lose a commission should that visitor end up buying stuff from Amazon Canada or Amazon UK.
If you have an Amazon Canada or UK associates accounts, you can have access to your affiliate links for the mentioned countries.
Check Your Google Analytics Account
In the left side, go to Geo>Location and see the top three countries your visitors are originating from.

From the above screenshot, I’d know that I need an Amazon US, Canada and UK associates account. Apply for free here.
It is always good to know if you have visitors coming from the countries. Otherwise, you can skip this lesson first, carry on creating contents until there is a good amount of visitors coming from different countries.
If you see visitors coming from Japan, get a Japan Associates Account. Apply the same move as you see visits from other countries such as France, Spain, Italy, and all other countries that Amazon Associates program has in their list.
How To Set Up The Amazon Onelink?
1. Login To Your Amazon Associates Account.
2. Go To Tools > One Link

3. Click on “Click here to link” link.

If you do not have an Amazon Associates account of the country that you want to link, apply first to get your tracking ID.
4. Go to "Select Geography," input your Store ID (or tracking ID) then click on the "Link Store."

5. Verify your store. Once verified, it should look like this:

That’s it! You can start earning commissions from visitors coming from the linked countries. 🙂

Amazon OneTag
Update: This is a screenshot of Amazon Associate’s email dated March 23, 2020:

From what the email said, they updated the Amazon One Link to work as a standalone tool. You need not install the oneTag anymore. So, if you have oneTag installed in your site, you need to remove it before April 17, 2020.
OneLink will continue to work without the oneTag.
If you would like to supercharge your Amazon Associates income and have an access to Amazon API (i.e. you need to be accepted to Amazon Associates Program first before you can access their PA-API), I highly suggest that you install the ASA2 Plugin.
I have been using the ASA2 plugin to generate more than 50% of my Amazon income since 2018. Without the ASA2 plugin, I would probably NOT earn from Amazon as much.
Hi Pitin, any idea on how to remove the Store ID from OneLink dashboard? It was mapped automatically. My UK account got closed and it’s till showing clicks and earnings on my US Account dashboard. I like to remove the closed Store ID from OneLink, apply a new account/store ID and map it again. I don’t think I can use two Store IDs from same country (UK)?
Thanks
Hi,
There is no way to remove the Store ID from the OneLink dashboard (at least as of writing this reply). “It (US tracking ID) was mapped automatically” to UK account, but since your UK account is already closed, when you apply for a new one, just create a new UK “tracking ID” from the upper right side (desktop view) > manage tracking IDS > Add tracking ID. Once you have a new tracking ID, go to Tools > Link Account > Select Geography > Choose your new tracking ID from the dropdown menu > Update.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Pitin
I used amazon onelink because it is a free tool then found out that it somehow affected my amazon.com earnings and conversion rates. So i ditched it and started using genius link plugin. It enabled me get an extra $50 per month which is a plus.
Hi James,
Thanks for the mention of the genius link plugin. While I know many people who have had a success using it, I do not use it. This is just my preference, and here are my reasons:
I am already using another plugin that uses Amazon’s API (See here what plugin), and I do not want to cause any conflict therefore possibly breaking my sites. Also, genius link does not support Amazon’s Native Shopping Ads and other Amazon Ad widgets (free newbie Amazon tools I integrate in my site).
Now, while I am highly tempted to try the genius link, I am already happy with my existing plugin since I can also easily integrate my associate IDs for different countries to earn commissions.
Thanks alot for sharing your thoughts!
Cheers,
Pitin

Hello!
I think that “OneLink” sounds really interesting. I have heard about Amazon’s affiliate program, but I have never heard of “OneLink” before. I am wondering, is there a specific training that you would recommend to be successful with this?
All the best,
Joshua
Hi Joshua,
If what you mean is a “specific training” for Amazon Affiliate Marketing, I learned all from here.
Kind Regards,
Pitin
I have been trying to get the one link work for so long. I almost gave up. Today I was searching for some help with this and I arrived here on your site. Amazing information and I have bookmarked to follow the steps you have written here for people.
So good of you to teach people this as I was really stuck and have at least 5 countries I need to add to my Amazon list of countries.
Thank you so much for your help!
Hi Vicki! 🙂
I am glad that this post can help. 🙂 Good luck on your Amazon affiliate marketing site! 🙂
I’d love to hear from you again!
